NYPD: Man Rapes 51-Year-Old Woman In Kew Gardens Hills

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man accused of raping a woman in Queens Sunday morning.

Police said the incident happened around 6:30 a.m. in Kew Gardens Hills.

The 51-year-old victim told police she was walking along the Horace Harding Expressway near 168th Street when a man grabbed her from behind.

The woman said she was thrown to the ground and sexually assaulted.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 40s, 6 feet tall, weighing around 180 pounds, with a slim build and clean-shaven. The suspect was wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and had short hair.

The Queens Special Victims Squad is now investigating.
