Kellogg's Opens First-Ever Cereal Cafe In Times Square

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Encouraging cereal creativity from its customers, Kellogg's opened its first-ever cafe in Times Square on Monday.

A bowl of cereal at Kellogg's NYC, located at 48th Street and Broadway, costs $6 to $8, 1010 WINS' Glenn Schuck reported. But you can add things like chai tea powder, lemon zest, even pisatchios to your favorite cereal.

"I love it," one woman said. "I had Cracklin' Oat Bran with peaches and blueberries, Pop Tart crumbles, which was pretty unbelievable, and some lemon zest. It was actually surprisingly good."

You can have cereal with milk or even ice cream.

A 10-year-old boy from Houston said he ordered Frosted Flakes with raspberry and white chocolate.

"It's good, he told Schuck.

If you want to be really adventrous, try the "Life in Color." It's ice cream with Froot Loops, lime zest, marshmallows and passion fruit jam and jelly.
