VP Harris To Meet With Newark Mayor On Lead Pipe Replacement Program

NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to be in Newark on Friday.

Harris will meet with Mayor Ras Baraka to discuss the city's efforts to replace lead pipes.

The vice president and EPA Administrator Michael Regan will highlight the success of Newark's lead pipe replacement program.

Funding for the lead pipe removal is part of the recent federal infrastructure law.
