Juvenile Who Burglarized Kickstarter HQ In Greenpoint Turns Himself In

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - After seeing himself on TV, the suspect in the robbery of Kickstarter, turned himself in.

Police say the suspect, a juvenile, was charged and released to his parents.

Around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, the suspect got into the Kickstarter headquarters at 58 Kent St. in Greepoint, Brooklyn, by grabbing the door and not letting it close after a food delivery, police said. He then waited for the employees to leave and stole three Macbook computers and an iPhone 5S. The suspect then took off on foot.

Police say the juvenile faces a family court date later this month.
