TV Cameraman Banned From Aaron Hernandez Murder Trial

FALL RIVER, Mass. (CBSNewYork/AP) — A cameraman for a Boston TV station has been banned from the murder trial of former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez for following jurors.

Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh on Thursday banned Robert Cusanelli of WHDH-TV from the courthouse after he testified under oath that he had followed jurors to their parking spots a day earlier.

Cusanelli said he didn't talk to them and at the time thought he wasn't doing anything wrong.

Garsh had said if no one from WHDH testified under oath about what happened, she would ban the entire station.

She said it was a serious matter and could have resulted in a mistrial.

Meanwhile, the 12 jurors resumed deliberations Thursday.

Hernandez is charged with the June 2013 shooting death of Odin Lloyd, who was dating his fiancee's sister.
