Jets' Wilkerson Not Interested In Talking About Injured Toe

DETROIT (CBSNewYork/AP) — New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson didn't want to discuss leaving Monday night's game against the Buffalo Bills with a toe injury.

"I'm not commenting on that," Wilkerson said after the 38-3 loss, according to the New York Post.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Wilkerson is in his fourth NFL season, all with the Jets. He has not missed a game as a pro.

Wilkerson, who left in the second quarter, acknowledged that he wanted to return to the field.

"He couldn't," head coach Rex Ryan said. "He was trying to, (but) sometimes those things -- it doesn't sound like much -- but they can be serious."

The Bills and Jets had to play in Detroit because of significant snow in the Buffalo area. New York is scheduled to host the Miami Dolphins next Monday night.
