Jets To Open 2021 Season Against Sam Darnold, Panthers
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York Jets and the New York Giants have some interesting matchups in the first season of the new 17-game NFL schedule.
It starts off for the Jets in Week 1 against their old franchise quarterback Sam Darnold, who is now with the Carolina Panthers.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. on Sept. 12. You can watch that game right here on CBS2.

The Jets will also play an international game in London against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Giants, meanwhile, will have a pair of Monday night games.
One is against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, the other against the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Bucs with Tom Brady.
