Jets Sign Former Vikings Linebacker Erin Henderson, Re-Sign Douzable
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Jets have signed former Vikings linebacker Erin Henderson, who sat out last season after dealing with off-field issues.
Henderson was released by Minnesota on Feb. 7, 2014, after being arrested twice in a six-week span on DUI charges.

Henderson said in an interview with USA Today last year that he entered an inpatient rehabilitation facility after the second arrest, and considered himself "a recovering alcoholic" but felt he was turning his life around.
Henderson was signed by the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland in 2008. After three seasons as a backup, the 28-year-old became a starter and had his best year in 2013 with career highs of 112 total tackles, four sacks and two interceptions. He has 266 career tackles and 8 1/2 sacks.
The Jets also re-signed veteran defensive lineman Leger Douzable to a one-year contract.
Hey Jet fans I'm backkkkkk. Glory to God

Douzable has been a valuable backup on the Jets' line the last two seasons after signing as a free agent in 2013. He had a career-high 2 1/2 sacks last season, along with 38 total tackles.
Douzable, who turns 29 next month, has 95 career tackles and five sacks in 75 games in six seasons. He originally signed with Minnesota as an undrafted free agent out of Central Florida in 2008, and has also spent time with the New York Giants, St. Louis Rams, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans.

He will likely compete for playing time at defensive end during training camp with free-agent signings Stephen Bowen, Kevin Vickerson and Ronald Talley.
