Jets Sign Former Cardinals Defensive End Ronald Talley

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Jets have signed former Arizona Cardinals defensive end Ronald Talley.

The 29-year-old Talley has 14 tackles and one sack in his NFL career. He played in six games for Arizona in 2013 for current Jets coach Todd Bowles, who was then the Cardinals' defensive coordinator.

The Jets announced the signing Wednesday.

Talley was signed by Green Bay as an undrafted free agent out of Delaware in 2009. He spent that season on the Packers' practice squad, but was cut at the end of training camp the following summer. Talley was signed to the Cardinals' practice squad in 2010 and played in 15 games over the next three seasons.

The Detroit native was signed by Tampa Bay as a free agent last year, but was cut in training camp and didn't play.
