Jets' Rex Confident Linebacker Harris Will Play Despite Shoulder Injury

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — Eric Decker will be a game-time decision for his reunion with the Denver Broncos.

The New York Jets wide receiver was listed as questionable Friday for the team's game at MetLife Stadium on Sunday because of an ailing right hamstring that has bothered him for a few weeks.

The game marks the first time Decker will face the Broncos since signing with the Jets during the offseason, but coach Rex Ryan doesn't sense the wide receiver is pushing himself extra just because the opponent is his former team.

"I think he wants to play, period," Ryan said. "It wouldn't matter who we're playing."

Linebacker David Harris, the Jets' leading tackler, was limited with a shoulder injury after sitting out practice the previous two days.

Ryan is optimistic about both Decker and Harris being able to play Sunday.

"I was hoping we'd get a little more out of Decker, especially," Ryan said. "We kind of figured that David, it's going to be up to how much pain that can take, but I still think David will play."

If Harris can't go, backup Nick Bellore would start in his place. Bellore, primarily a special teams player, has never started in his four NFL seasons. He took nearly all the snaps with the first-team defense during practice this week.

Wide receiver David Nelson (ankle) and cornerback Darrin Walls (knee) are also questionable for the game. Nelson was questionable last week against San Diego, but played — something that surprised Ryan. Nelson was limited Thursday and Friday, and Ryan said maybe the wide receiver had a setback during the week with the injury.

Ryan thought Walls, who was injured against San Diego, would be able to play after he was limited at practice.

Safety Josh Bush (quadriceps) is doubtful, meaning it's highly unlikely he'll play.

Cornerback Dee Milliner (quadriceps), running back Chris Johnson (ankle), tight end Jeff Cumberland (illness), center Nick Mangold (shoulder), right guard Willie Colon (knee), right tackle Breno Giacomini (lower back), defensive lineman Damon Harrison (ankle) were all full participants Friday and listed as probable.
