Jets Open Season At Home Against Bengals On Sept. 11

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York Jets open the season at home against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 11 as the NFL releases the 2016 schedule.

The Jets, who narrowly missed the playoffs last season, will visit Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills in Week 2 and face the New England Patriots for the first time in primetime on Sunday Night Football on Nov. 27 at home.

The Jets have five primetime games total.

Their bye week comes in Week 11.

According to NFL.com, the Jets have the seventh-toughest schedule this upcoming season.
