All Clear Given After Suspicious Powder On JetBlue Plane At JFK
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A suspicious powder on a JetBlue plane prompted an emergency response at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Flight 201 was bound for Ft. Lauderdale when the crew spotted a suspicious powder at around 9 a.m.
Passengers were deplaned and the Port Authority Police Department's Emergency Services Unit checked out the powder.
Footage from the scene showed numerous emergency vehicles surrounding the plane at the gate.
The all clear was given at around 11 a.m.
