Boy, 7, Falls From Window In Jersey City
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A 7-year-old boy fell from a window Friday night in Jersey City.
The boy was apparently playing by a window in his home on Rose Avenue in Jersey City Friday evening, CBS2's Tracee Carrasco reported.
The boy fell about 20 feet, officials said. A bystander tried to catch him.
"By the time I get out of this door, the baby's coming down, and the daddy called me, 'Look at that!' and when I look for the baby, the baby drops in front of me and he got his ear open," said Umberto Suarez.
The boy's father told CBS2 his son's condition was stable at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack.
