Off-Duty Jersey City Police Officer Shoots Man Dead In East Orange, N.J., Authorities Say
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- An off-duty Jersey City police officer shot and killed a man Saturday afternoon, according to authorities.
The Essex County Prosecutor's office said the shooting happened around 1 p.m. on South Clinton Street in East Orange, New Jersey.
The police officer was not hurt.
The prosecutor's office said it is investigating the incident.
