Jersey City Garbage Truck Fire Spreads To Nearby Cars

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Flames from a garbage truck fire in Jersey City quickly spread to nearby cars early Monday morning.

The fire broke out on Palisade Avenue. Few details are known, but crews were forced to climb on top of the truck and use metal saws to open it up and get water inside.

No word on what sparked the fire.

There are no reports of injuries.
