7 People Sought In Elevator Attack At Jane Hotel In Greenwich Village
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for seven people wanted in connection with an alleged attack on a man inside a hotel elevator in Greenwich Village over Halloween weekend.
It happened around 1 a.m. Sunday at the Jane Hotel located at 113 Jane St.
The 26-year-old victim was punched and kicked after one of the suspects made an anti-gay comment, police said.
The victim was treated for a cut to his forehead at Mount Sinai Hospital.
The suspects are all believed to be between 20 and 30 years old. Some were dressed in costume.
