IKEA Recalls Children's Nightlight Due To Electrical Shock Hazard

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- IKEA is recalling more than 400,000 children's nightlights because of a risk of electrical shock.

The Consumer Products Safety Commission said IKEA was taking all of its "Patrull" nightlights off the market.

The dome shaped plastic covering on the light can detach -- exposing its electrical components.

Users should stop using the nightlights and contact IKEA for a refund toll-free at 888-966-4532 or online at http://www.ikea-usa.com.
