Ikea Recalls Children's Bed Canopies Due To Strangulation Risk

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Swedish furniture giant Ikea has issued a major recall on children's bed canopies, because of a strangulation hazard.

The company said no injuries have been reported, but reports of entanglement have been issued.

The fabric can be pulled into cribs and wrapped around an infant's neck.

The affected canopies include Legendarisk, Minnen bed canopy set, Barnslig Boll, Minnen Brodyr, Himmel, Fabler, Tissla, and Klämmig.

Anyone with one of the affected canopies is asked to stop using it and return it to an Ikea store for a full refund.
