Hundreds Turn Out For Hope And Possibility Run In Central Park
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Hundreds of people took part in the Hope and Possibility Run in Central Park Sunday morning.
The annual event is put on by the Achilles Track Club and features runners and walkers who are not letting their disabilities determine what they can do, CBS 2 reported.
The race was named in honor of Trisha Mieli, the Central Park jogger who credits the track club for helping in her recovery.
Former New York Gov. David Patterson, who is legally blind, took part in this year's race.
