Hundreds Of UPS Drivers Strike In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Hundreds of UPS delivery drivers walked off the job in Queens on Wednesday morning.

The drivers from Teamsters Local 804 in Long Island City stood in the snow to protest working conditions.

Some chanted, "Stop the war on workers" and others yelled, "Stop harassment at UPS."

In a statement, UPS confirmed some drivers delayed their dispatch because of a "personnel concern."

UPS said the drivers have since resumed activity.
