Long Island Man Finds Human Skull While Riding Bike In Woods

RONKONKOMA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- An investigation is underway on Long Island after a grisly find in Suffolk County.

A man riding his bike in the woods near Express Drive North in Ronkonkoma found a human skull Saturday.

He called police who said the remains have been there for an extended period and have yet to be positively identified.

The Suffolk County Medical Examiner is set to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
