Police: Homeless LI Woman Fatally Stabs Homeless Man In Coram
CORAM, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A homeless Long Island woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing a man -- who was also homeless -- to death Tuesday night.
Suffolk County police found Robert Anthony, 55, near a Home Depot location at 346 Middle Country Road in Coram with apparent stab wounds, authorities said. He was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
Ada Robinson, 60, was arrested at the scene. She is facing one charge of manslaughter in the first degree and will appear in Central Islip court on Tuesday.
An investigation is ongoing.
