Homeless Man Found Dead Inside Box Trailer In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- New York City police are investigating the death of a homeless man found inside a box trailer in Brooklyn.

The 45-year-old victim was discovered unconscious and unresponsive at around 3 a.m. Sunday.

The cargo trailer was parked on Neptune Avenue on the property of an auto glass business that allowed the homeless to sleep in the trailers, police said.

Friends of the victim attempted to resuscitate him after discovering him unconscious, cops said.

He was taken to Coney Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police are not releasing the man's name until his family has been notified.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
