Protesters Block Westbound Lanes Of Holland Tunnel

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Holland Tunnel to New Jersey closed Thursday night due to police activity.

Citizen video shows protesters blocking the westbound lanes.

CBS2 has been told the demonstrators are part of the Trans Rights and Black Lives Matter movements.

They started at Stonewall before making their way to the tunnel.
