"I love being in Brooklyn, this is great," the former secretary of state said with a big smile early on during Thursday night's Democratic debate with Sen. Bernie Sanders.

A recent Quinnipiac University poll showed Clinton with a 53 to 40 percent lead over Sanders among likely Democratic voters in New York.
