Water Sent Gushing From High Floor In Upper West Side Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Water gushed down onto the street from a high-rise building on the Upper West Side Thursday afternoon.

As of 5 p.m., the water was gushing from several stories high in the building at 66th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.

The pavement below was left soaked as traffic passed through.

CBS2 has learned ongoing air conditioning work in the building is to blame.
