Car Jumps Curb, Strikes Child, 2 Adults In Hicksville, Long Island

HICKSVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Three people, including a child, were injured late Thursday when a car jumped a curb in Hicksville, Long Island.

The car jumped the curb just before 10 p.m. on Old Country Road in Hicksville, Nassau County police said.

At least one victim was in critical condition, police said.

The events that led up to the crash were not known late Thursday.

Following the crash, Old County Road was closed in both directions at Newbridge Road.
