Man Killed In Serious Crash On Henry Hudson Parkway

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police late Saturday were investigating a serious crash on the Henry Hudson Parkway on the West Side of Manhattan that left a man dead.

Police were called to the parkway at 95th Street at 7:33 p.m. A 68-year-oldman had been driving a black 2004 Lincoln Navigator south on the parkway when a red 2011 Dodge Charger changed lanes, police said.

The driver of the Navigator swerved his vehicle and drove off the roadway where he struck a tree, police said.

He was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital West where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Two others suffered minor injuries, officials said.

The driver of the Charger remained on the scene, police said. There were no arrests late Saturday, and the NYPD Collision Investigation Squad was investing.
