SUV Flips, Snags Northbound Henry Hudson Parkway

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Injuries were reported in an accident that snagged the northbound Henry Hudson Parkway during the Monday evening rush.

A sport-utility vehicle flipped over in the accident, which briefly closed the northbound side of the busy parkway along the Hudson River, Joe Biermann reported from Chopper 2.

CHECK: Traffic

The parkway was back open as of the 6:30 p.m., but traffic was still backed up severely from 56th Street all the way to the George Washington Bridge, Biermann reported.

There were injuries in the crash, but details were not immediately available.
