Heavy Rain, Flooding In New Jersey

TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork)-- Heavy rain pounded down on several parts of New Jersey, prompting major flooding and a flash flood warning for some of the region.

Strong winds and precipitation caused several power outages throughout New Jersey with thousands affected in Middlesex and Somerset counties.

On Friday, police reported flooding in Jersey City and Newark and a flash flood watch was in effect for most of the Garden State.
