Hate Stickers Found On Street Signs In Westbury
WESTBURY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Nassau County police are investigating after stickers with hate messages were found on street signs in Westbury.
The stickers displayed a skull and cross bones with the words "Multiculturalism is Genocide," written in bold, block letters, WCBS 880's Sophia Hall reported.
The stickers were found on two street signs along Salisbury Drive.
Residents like Bobby Gabrielli were not happy about the messages.
"It's their beliefs and its their hate," Gabrielli said of whoever posted the stickers. "That's their own mindset."
The stickers have since been removed by the town.
A police investigation is ongoing.
