Police: Men Held Up Harlem Store, Fired Shot Inside

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were on the hunt Thursday for two suspects who robbed a Harlem variety store and fired a shot inside.

Around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, two men walked into the store at 2251 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd., between 132nd and 133rd streets, and asked to buy a T-shirt, police said.

During the purchase, the suspects demanded money, police said. One of the suspects took out a gun and fired a shot, but did not strike anyone, police said.

The suspects fled on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, police said.
