NYPD: Man Safe After Possible Gunpoint Abduction In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man who was spotted as victim of a possible abduction in the Bronx was reported safe Wednesday morning, police said.

Police said they received a report from a witness who saw the 33-year-old victim being assaulted and eventually abducted at gunpoint by four suspects at 1326 Gillespie Avenue at around 3:19 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

The suspects sped off in a silver Chrysler Town and Country with the victim inside, police said.

According to police, the victim walked into the 45 Precinct on his own accord and with no injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
