Student Found With BB Gun At School In The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A 15-year-old student is under arrest for allegedly bringing a BB gun to a Bronx school Thursday.
The police were called just before 10 a.m. to the Fannie Lou Hamer Middle School at Jennings Street in Crotona Park East.
"The safety and security of students and staff is our top priority," said Toya Holness, spokesperson for the Department of Education. "The object was confiscated, and students and staff are safe. We are working closely with the NYPD to investigate the incident."
Students were not evacuated and no one was injured in the incident.
