The 61st annual GRAMMY Awards got off to a powerful start with five powerful women for an ode to music and sisterhood, including the show's host, 15-time GRAMMY Award winner Alicia Keys, and none other than former First Lady Michelle Obama.

The cheers continued with some of the biggest stars in music hitting the stage. A tribute to country music legend Dolly Parton featured Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Kacey Musgraves.

She took home three GRAMMYs. Childish Gambino took home four, but was missing from the award show. Also a no-show was Ariana Grande, who chose not to perform because of a disagreement with show producers.
At the end of the night, Kacey Musgraves came out on top, winning album of the year for her album "Golden Hour" and going home with four in total.
