Goose Dies After Flying Into Pickup Truck's Windshield In Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A goose lost a battle against a pickup truck in Hackettstown.

The Hackettstown Police Department told CBS2 a goose attempted to take flight but struck the windshield of the truck that was traveling westbound on Route 57.

A female passenger suffered a bloodied nose, but she refused medical treatment.

The goose died at the scene.
