Boy, 17, Accused Of Setting Girl's Hair On Fire At Brooklyn High School

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 17-year-old boy was taken into police custody Tuesday after allegedly lighting a girl's hair on fire at their high school in Brooklyn.

The incident happened at Midwood High School, at 2839 Bedford Ave. in Midwood, Brooklyn, police said.

The boy lit the 17-year-ollld girl's hair on fire, police told 1010 WINS. Sue suffered non-life threatening injuries and minor injuries to her ear, police said.

The boy was taken into custody and may be charged with assault, police said.
