Georgia Man Creates Viral Video Sensation Lip-Synching 'All By Myself' At Empty Las Vegas Airport

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - New York is the city that never sleeps, but apparently the same can't be said of Las Vegas, of all places.

Richard Dunn, a lighting designer from Georgia, found himself in the essentially deserted Las Vegas McCarren International Airport overnight and decided the most reasonable thing to do would be to shoot a music video.

He shot himself lip-synching Celine Dion's version of "All By Myself," using the desolate airport as a backdrop.

The video went viral, racking up more than 4 million plays on Vimeo since it was posted Saturday.

It probably couldn't have happened here. As Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office pointed out in January, "New York's airport system is one of the busiest in the world... but they are consistently rated among the worst airports in the country in terms of design and overall passenger experience."
