Nassau County Dad Accused Of DWI With 2 Kids In Car

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Nassau County man is accused of driving while intoxicated with his two children in the car.

Police arrested 31-year-old Geo Jossy Friday night around 10:30 p.m. after he was pulled over on Glen Cove Road in Old Westbury.

Jossy, of New Hyde Park, had his 1-year-old and 3-year-old children in the car at the time, police said.

The children were released to their mother, who was riding in the front passenger seat at the time of the traffic stop.

Jossy is charged with two counts of aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra's Law, driving while intoxicated, and other traffic violations.

He was expected to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Saturday.
