General Mills Recalling 10 Million Pounds Of Flour Over E. Coli Concerns

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- General Mills is recalling more than 10 million pounds of flour over concerns that it may be linked to an outbreak of E. Coli.

According to General Mills, several varieties of their Gold Medal, Wondra and Signature Kitchens flour brands are affected.

Thirty-eight cases of illnesses linked to the flour have been reported in 20 states nationwide, CBS2 reported. About half of the sick people reported making something with the flour before becoming ill.

General Mills advises consumers to not use the flour.
