11/18 CBS2 Friday Morning Weather Headlines

Good morning, folks! We're less than a week before Thanksgiving, but it certainly isn't feeling like November out there. After a chilly start, we'll climb back into the 60s today. Bright, blue skies will make for a great finish to the work week.

We'll pull out one last mild day on Saturday before some BIG changes. Clouds will increase Saturday night, and some rain showers will approach overnight. With reinforcing shots of cold air, temps take a huge tumble. In fact, there may even be some flakes flying for the NW suburbs! The high in the city on Sunday... just 49! With a gusty NW wind, it'll feel much colder. A few rain/snow showers are possible.

The pattern change lasts through early next week with highs only in the 40s. Check back in soon for the latest, including the Thanksgiving forecast!

Have a good one!
