Teachers Union Treats NYC Students To Free Prom Outfits

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- So many gowns, so little time.

Prom Mania hit the United Federation of Teachers headquarters where hundreds of students from more than 60 schools could pick up prom dresses and tuxedos for free.

Justine from M.S. 35 in Brooklyn wasn't wasting any time.

"I was going for long and classic," said Justine, who was trying on four dresses before picking out a matching bag and shoes.

Each school got about 40 minutes in the room to pick out their perfect prom outfit.
