New Jersey Native Frankie Edgar Defeats Jeremy Stephens Via Decision At UFC 205

It was all but easy for the New Jersey native, Frankie Edgar, in his UFC 205 bout with Jeremy Stephens. In the second round, Stephens rocked Edgar with a kick to the face midway through and in his Edgar ways, he used his wrestling to help him get through the round. Despite Stephens landing the kick, two judges gave the round to Edgar and eventually the win (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).

Edgar, the future Hall of Famer, came out and defeated a bigger, stronger and more powerful opponent. It was a great bounce-back win for Edgar who lost at UFC 200 against Jose Aldo. The fight with Stephens didn't disappoint and was a perfect way to lead into the UFC 205 main card.
