Francesa: 'I Still Think Fitzpatrick Winds Up' As Jets' Quarterback

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Mike Francesa believes that Ryan Fitzpatrick still ends up back with the New York Jets.

Francesa said the Jets are shrouded in rumors since they have no quarterback heading into Thursday night's NFL Draft.

"There's always a lot of rumors when you don't have a quarterback. Whenever your team is in the throes of not knowing who your quarterback is it raises a lot of issues and that's right now where the Jets are," Francesa said.

The Jets have the 20th overall pick. Will Brinson and Dane Brugler of CBS Sports have the Jets selecting Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch with their first-round pick.

"There's more rumors than there are possibilities. There are a lot of possibilities, but I still think Fitzpatrick winds up as their quarterback," Francesa said. "I'd be surprised by anything else."

Francesa also talks about the Mets, Yankees, and the NBA playoffs.
