Founder: $70K Missing From Sandy Hook Massacre Foundation

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- More than $70,000 that was raised in honor of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims is now missing.

The charity's founder said Friday that only $30,000 of the $103,000 donated was used for the foundation's purpose.

The money was raised during marathons across the country, CBS 2 reported.

The founder noticed suspicious charges on a PayPal account, but when she questioned the co-founder, that person cut off contact.

The group has filed a complaint with the FBI.
