Former Slugger Jose Canseco Plans To Put His Finger On EBay
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Jose Canseco is attempting to make the best of a very bad situation.
The former MLB slugger, who played for the Yankees in 2000, accidentally shot off one of his fingers last week while cleaning his gun.
Now he's planning to auction it off on eBay.
The disgraced six-time All-Star and 1988 MVP took to Twitter on Thursday night to begin promoting the sale.
I will soon put the finger that fell off in the poker tournament on eBay for sale

The eBay ad will read slightly used middle finger with 462 home runs could be used as a stirring straw for drinks

Canseco also tweeted that he's selling the gun -- a .45 caliber Remington -- that was being cleaned when the accident occurred. It's unclear if eBay will permit the admitted steroid user to auction off either item, but Canseco is certainly going to try.
maybe I will make it a package the chrome 45 caliber Remington with the finger both for sale a package deal
