Ford Focus Recall Affects 1.3 Million Vehicles Due To Fuel Problem

DETROIT (CBSNewYork) - Ford is recalling nearly 1.3 million of its Focus compact cars because of a problem with the fuel system.

The defect can cause the cars to stall without warning.

The affected cars have model years from 2012 through 2018.

Ford says anyone driving one of these vehicles should keep the gas tank at least half-full until the needed repairs are made.
