Friday night - 2 a.m. Saturday: Light snow moves across from Pennsylvania into western New Jersey and New York City closer to midnight-1 a.m.

2-6 a.m. Saturday: Brunt of the precipitation with the highest snowfall rates (about 0.5 inch per hour).

6-9 a.m. Saturday: The system breaks up and fades.

Saturday afternoon: We can expect gusty winds (25 mph), a cold day (stuck in the 30s) and some spotty snow showers.
