Fire Breaks Out In Upper West Side Apartment Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A fire swept through an apartment building on West End Avenue on the Upper West Side Friday night.

The fire was reported around 9:15 p.m. on the second floor of the 28-story building at 185 West End Ave., fire officials told CBS 2.

The building is one of several in the Lincoln Towers complex just west of Lincoln Center.

No one was injured in the blaze.

The fire was brought under control by 9:15 p.m., the FDNY said.

Information about displacements was not immediately available.
