Fire breaks out at vacant building overnight in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn

FDNY battles overnight fire in Brooklyn

NEW YORK -- The FDNY battled a fire overnight in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. 

The flames broke out around 1:20 a.m. at a vacant home on Weldon Street. 

They could be seen coming out of the upper floor and roof of the two-story home.

Firefighters had the blaze under control by 2:40 a.m. No injuries were reported.
